Ava Ryan Spills the Tea on 2016 Trends That Somehow Haven't Been Cancelled by the Internet Yet Because Apparently People Still Think Taco Bell and Snapchat Dog Filters Are Cool

Oh boy, are you guys ready for some serious nostalgia? 🙄 Because Ava Ryan is here to bring back all the trends from 2016 that you thought were long dead and buried 💀. From Taco Bell classics to internet fads, she’s partnering with the food chain to celebrate its Decades #TBTB Menu, featuring the return of the Naked Chicken Chalupa, Beefy Crunch Burrito, Meximelt, and Caramel Apple Empanada 🤯. Because, you know, the world was just missing those 🙃.

I mean, who doesn’t love a good Burrito, Nacho Fries, and a Baja Blast? 🤤 It’s not like those things are still available on the regular Taco Bell menu or anything 🙄. But hey, if Ava Ryan says it’s cool, then it must be cool, right? 😎 She’s also super excited to try the Caramel Apple Empanada, because who wouldn’t want to eat a dessert that’s just a fancy apple pie 🍎.

And while her favorite foods have stood the test of time, her appetite for nostalgia goes beyond the menu 🤔. She wants to bring back the feeling of people making things because they genuinely thought they were funny or fun, where they were just being silly and enjoying what they do 🤡. You know, like those hilarious 6-second videos she made with her mom on Vine 📹. Yeah, those were the days 🙃.

Need proof that those were the days? Look no further than her own archives 📁. She’s still got the receipts for those hilarious Vine videos, and she’s not afraid to bust them out 🎉. “It’s still crazy to think that those 6 second videos I made with my mom had such a big impact on people” 🤷‍♀️. Yeah, no kidding, Ava 🙄. I mean, who wouldn’t want to watch a 6-second video of a kid being silly? 🤣

But seriously, some staples from the era have managed to stick around 🙌. Like the Snapchat dog filter 🐶, which is still giving people life 🤣. And making slime 🌿, because who doesn’t love a good craft project? 🎨. Ava still loves those things, and they’ve given her the confidence to pursue comedy 🤣. Because, you know, the world was just missing a sarcastic actress who loves Taco Bell 🙄.

That confidence has carried over from seconds-long clips to her acting career 🎬. She’s all about playing sarcastic characters, like Georgia in Free Bert 🙄. Because, you know, the world needs more sarcasm 🤣. And she tries to bring a part of herself into any character she plays 🤷‍♀️. Which is just code for “I’m going to play myself, but with better lighting” 💁‍♀️.

But of course, not every craze is worthy of a revival 🙅‍♀️. “Throw away the fidget spinners” 🚮, she says. Because, you know, those things were just the worst 🙄. But hey, at least we can all agree on that 🤝.

The Decades Menu returns nationwide on Thursday, Aug. 20, because you’ve all been waiting with bated breath for the return of the Naked Chicken Chalupa 🤯. And Taco Bell’s limited-edition collaborations with Anti Social Club and Camp Snap drop on Tuesday, Aug. 25, because who doesn’t love a good collab? 🤝. So mark your calendars, folks 📅. It’s time to get this nostalgia party started 🎉! 🎊👏
