She also links up with Maluma for the first time on “Cuerpo (Tumbao),” which is a rendition of “Get Me Bodied” that samples Celia Cruz’s “La Negra Tiene Tumbao.” Beyoncé produced the track alongside Edgar Barrera and CASTA, with Ali “Ali Ali” Alvarez serving as co-producer.
Archival Tracks and Remixes
Elsewhere, the enhanced tracklist digs into the archives for “Lost Yo Mind,” “Creole,” and “Back Up,” all B-sides that were left off the original album. “My First Time” dates back even further, having originally been recorded for her 2003 debut, Dangerously in Love.
Another standout cut is “Can I Watch You,” notably produced by Beyoncé and Pharrell. Also included is “Morning Dew (Donk),” which Beyoncé released in July to begin the countdown to B’Day‘s anniversary before following it with a JAY-Z-assisted remix in August.
Physical Editions and Tracklist
The physical editions differ slightly from the 31-song digital release. Beyoncé’s official store offers a four-LP deluxe set pressed on 180-gram blue vinyl with a 60-page commemorative booklet and two double-sided art prints. A standard two-LP edition and CD are also available.
Originally released on September 4th, 2006, B’Day earned Beyoncé the Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B Album the following year.
