LEGO has unveiled a trio of new Batman sets, including two new Batmobiles and an incredibly sick Joker wall art build. They’re all due out January 1st, 2027.
First up is the The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover (#67012 ), which is interestingly listed under the “Art” category and not “DC.” It’s a fair distinction, honestly; this crazy display piece recreates the cover of 2011’s Detective Comics #880 by comic artist Jock. It uses 1,849 pieces (many of which are, unsurprisingly, bats) to create a sinister 3D relief of the maniacal madman. Priced at $169.99, you can pre-order the Joker Wall Art at LEGO.
New Batmobiles
One of the two Batmobiles comes from Batman Returns, but what sets it apart from the Batman Returns Batmobile already released earlier this year is about $170 and a Duck car. The 672-piece set includes both the Batmobile — with Batmissle transformasion feature from the larger model intact! — and Penguin’s Duck-mobile. You also get Michael Keaton Batman and Danny DeVito Penguin minifigs, all for $59.99. It’s not yet available for pre-order, but once it’s up you can get it via LEGO.
On the smaller scale is the 317-piece Arkham Batman Batmobile, presenting a playable version of the vehicle from the classic Batman: Arkham video game. That’s priced at $29.99 and will be on sale at LEGO’s website.
Additional Content
Both the Batmobiles come with bonus content for the acclaimed LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game, available now at LEGO or on Amazon.
LEGO also recently released a number of cool pop culture sets, including ones for Avengers: Doomsday, a model PlayStation system, Downton Abbey, and a $800 Star Wars model you have to see to believe.
In conclusion, LEGO fans and Batman enthusiasts alike have a lot to look forward to with these new sets, which offer a range of exciting and unique building experiences. With their release scheduled for January 1st, 2027, fans can start making plans to get their hands on these incredible new sets and add them to their collections. Whether you’re a fan of the Batman franchise, LEGO, or just love building and collecting, these new sets are sure to be a hit.
