Denzel Curry and Kenneth Blume Reunite for New Album ii Release

Denzel Curry and Kenneth Blume (fka Kenny Beats) are reuniting for a new album titled ii. It’s out August 21st via Loma Vista Recordings, but you can hear the first single, “DIFFERENCE,” below.

New Album and Single

ii is the rapper and producer’s second collaborative project after they first linked up on 2020’s UNLOCKED, demonstrating their musical growth in the time since then. For its recording, they worked solely on a Roland SP-404 beat machine and a “cheap mic,” according to a press release. In addition to Yebba, who guests on “DIFFERENCE,” the album features JPEGMAFIA and Westside Gunn. Pre-orders are ongoing.

Upcoming Tours and Projects

Both Curry and Blume are adding to their already packed year. In addition to creating the new supergroup The Scythe, which released one of the best albums of 2026 to date, Curry supported Deftones on their recent UK/Europe tour and is preparing to join Knocked Loose on the road this fall. Look for deals and get tickets to sold-out shows via Vivid Seats, where fans can save $20 on their first order of $200 or more with promo code CONSEQUENCE20 at checkout.

Meanwhile, Blume produced one of the best albums of 2025, Geese’s Getting Killed. He has since reunited with Rico Nasty on their latest joint project, RX, and dropped another collaborative album, FATHERS, alongside Nate Smith, CARRTOONS, and Kiefer.

Album Details

“The work Denzel and I do has never been easy, which is why it’s so rewarding,” Blume shared in a statement. “We’ve started every project on opposite sides of a coin and fought our way to the center. When I hear this album I hear the growth and the fight in equal parts.”

On “DIFFERENCE,” Yebba’s vocals float atop a frenetic beat as Curry pays homage to Lil Wayne while shouting out Blume: “Go DJ, that’s my DJ/ Spinnin’ on your block, and I’m singing upon the replay/ Probably ’cause you changed for some change/ Bringin’ back Barack Obama’s campaign/ Now nobody wanna speak yo’ damn name/ Did it all just to fall and that’s a damn shame.”

The ii artwork and tracklist have also been released, with the tracklist featuring 9 songs, including “GONE FISHING,” “EVIL GRIN” (feat. JPEGMAFIA), and “THE DIFFERENCE” (feat. Yebba).

Denzel Curry’s 2026 tour dates have also been announced, with stops in the US, UK, and Europe. Fans can catch him live on tour with Knocked Loose this fall.
