Then everyone discovered that calling something “fake news” was a remarkably convenient way to dismiss anything they didn’t like. Donald Trump turned the phrase into a political catch-all, repeatedly using it against unfavorable media coverage.
So naturally, we built a slot machine.

Paste a news headline or article URL, hit SPIN, and watch the machine deliver its verdict: TRUE, MISLEADING, CLICKBAIT, RAGEBAIT, PURE PROPAGANDA, AI SLOP — or something even less reassuring.
It checks the source and analyzes the headline for things like clickbait language, emotional wording, ALL CAPS and suspicious punctuation.
Because apparently reading the article before getting angry is no longer enough.
