Programming and Content

In addition, Green Day TV will air a weekly variety show, Transmission Unknown, hosted by Tré Cool. The series will spotlight handpicked emerging musical acts with live performances and interviews, while also featuring original sketches combining comedy and music.

Upcoming Film and Soundtrack

The launch of the YouTube stream comes ahead of the band’s NIMRODS film, a coming-of-age story based on Green Day’s early touring days. Out in theaters on August 14th, the film stars Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, and Ryan Foust alongside Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, Keen Ruffalo, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Mckenna Grace, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, and Sean Gunn.

Last week, Green Day unleashed the film’s soundtrack. The 30-song album features 22 fan favorites alongside brand new tracks like “I’m Never Gonna R.I.P.,” the band’s first new music since 2024’s Saviors. Also included are previously unreleased live recordings and a handful of songs from the movie’s fictional band, Anal OG Dogs.

Armstrong is preparing to head out on tour in October with his side project Pinhead Gunpowder. Look for deals and sold-out tickets at Vivid Seats, where fans can save $20 on their first order of $200 or more with promo code CONSEQUENCE20 at checkout. The Vivid Seats Rewards program also offers members a free ticket for every 10 tickets purchased.

In conclusion, Green Day TV is a must-watch for fans of the iconic rock band, offering a unique look into their history and a glimpse into their future projects. With the upcoming NIMRODS film and Pinhead Gunpowder tour, there’s never been a better time to be a Green Day fan.
