David Arquette is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Scream this October with the “Behind the Scream” tour, a 14-date theater-hopping trip featuring screenings of the classic slasher film followed by the actor sharing stories about the movie.
The “Behind the Scream” tour begins October 8th in Roanoke, Virginia at Berglund Performing Arts Theatre. The event comes to Jacksonville, Florida, Englewood, New Jersey, Akron, Ohio, Bloomington, Illinois, and Austin, Texas. The tour wraps up October 31st in Torrington, Connecticut at the Oneglia Auditorium in the Warner Theatre.
Tour Details and Tickets
Tickets are available for some dates via Ticketmaster. Tickets for all other dates can be found here. VIP tickets offering the best seats and post-show photos with Arquette are available.
At each stop, after a showing of the 1996 horror film, Arquette will be in person to share behind the scenes tales, anecdotes and insights about the effects of Scream on his career and horror films. Audience members will also have a chance to ask the actor questions.
Scream Franchise and Anniversary Celebrations
Arquette played police officer Dwight “Dewey” Riley in the first five films of the horror franchise initially directed by Wes Craven. Scream 4 from 2011 was the last film Craven directed before his death in 2015. In the 2022 reboot of the franchise and the fifth film, Riley was killed off by the film’s masked antagonist Ghostface.
In July, Marco Beltrami’s score from the original film was released on vinyl in celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary, which is available on Amazon. The month prior, Scream 4 was put out in a 4K Steelbook and a limited-edition VHS to mark 15 years since Craven’s final directing effort. The 4K edition of Scream can also be purchased via Amazon.
