“Spoken Word Warriors of Atlanta: Where Poets Battle Rhymes and Free Drinks”

Poetry In The City, Hosted By Grammy Nominated Poet – Theresa tha SONGBIRD!

Gather ’round, word nerds! 🎤✨ On Sunday at 8:00PM, Atlanta’s finest will gather at 393 Marietta Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30313, to prove that rhymes aren’t just for greeting cards. Expect tears, laughter, and probably someone reading their grocery list as art.

Parking? Paid lots across the street—because free parking is a myth, like unicorns or affordable rent. 🚗💸 Want to perform? Email [email protected] and pray they don’t ghost you. Tickets cost more at the door, so stop procrastinating.

Table reservations: Arrive late, lose your seat. Buy a table ticket, not a chair ticket—math isn’t our strong suit either. 18+ only, so leave the kids at home unless they’re paying for your drinks. 🍷

Follow @apachexlratl & @apacheafterdark on Instagram, @apachexlratl on TikTok—because if you didn’t post it, did you even attend?

Pro tip: Bring cash for the 1 entree/2 drink minimum. No refunds, no seat swaps, no crying over spilled wine. See you there, poets! 🖤 #SpokenWordOrBust

Chuck B. Ballsy

Chuck B. Ballsy, affectionately known in the satirical world as “The Sultan of Snark,” is a self-proclaimed sports expert who peaked athletically in middle school dodgeball.

Born in Halfcourt, Indiana, Chuck spent his formative years shouting unsolicited advice at professional athletes on TV, firmly believing that his couchside coaching was the key to their success.

Chuck B. Ballsy: because in the game of sports and sarcasm, he’s always the MVP. 🏀🎤
