System of a Down and Faith No More Team Up in Brazil

System of a Down and Faith No More will join forces for a one-off concert at Rio de Janeiro’s Maracanã Stadium on January 15th, 2027. The show expands the bands’ previously announced reunion run which includes dates across Australia and New Zealand in early 2027.

The show is billed as “One Night Only,” and it is currently set to mark Faith No More’s first live performance since 2016. Tickets go on general sale August 21st through Eventim, following a series of bank Itaú presales beginning August 19th.

Upcoming Concert Details

The concert will bring System of a Down back to Brazil less than two years after their “Wake Up! South America Stadium Tour”. Back then, the band played nine shows across the continent in 2025, including five in Brazil, drawing a combined 500,000 attendees, according to the tour’s promoter 30e.

For Faith No More, the return to Brazilian territory has been much longer in the making. The Mike Patton-led band last performed in São Paulo and at Rock in Rio in September 2015.

Global Deals and Tour Schedule

The Maracanã concert follows global deals both bands signed with Brazilian promoter 30e, which produced System of a Down’s 2025 South American tour.
