Mike Collins Makes Hilarious Jokes About Assassinating Pelosi

Mike Collins Makes Hilarious Jokes About Assassinating Pelosi

I’m sipping my coffee and reading about the latest debate in the Georgia Senate race, and folks, it’s getting interesting. Democrat Jon Ossoff is accusing Republican congressman Mike Collins of calling for immigrants to be thrown to their deaths from helicopters, referring to a social media post Collins sent in 2024. Collins didn’t directly address the accusation, instead pivoting to immigration enforcement and criticizing Ossoff. I’m thinking, what’s going on here? Collins has a history of making questionable comments, including suggesting that American military and political leaders deserved to be hanged from a helicopter back in 2021. You can’t make this stuff up, right?

It seems like Collins has a pattern of promoting conspiracy theories and making inflammatory statements. He joked about pushing Nancy Pelosi out of a plane, and his son-in-law is a pro-White nationalist social media influencer with a track record of sharing antisemitic material. Collins has also repeatedly downplayed the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, calling it a peaceful tour by grandmothers. I’m shaking my head, thinking, how can someone in public office make such claims?

The CNN KFile review of Collins’ past social media posts and interviews reveals a disturbing trend of promoting hate speech and extrajudicial killings. Collins has praised Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers, who was censured by her own state’s Republican-led Senate for speaking at a White nationalist conference and making inflammatory statements. Rogers called for “more gallows” and Collins thanked her for supporting his campaign. It’s like, what kind of company are you keeping, Collins?

Collins has also promoted conspiracy theories surrounding Ray Epps, a January 6 participant who became the subject of baseless claims that he was a federal agent. He’s questioned the investigation into the pipe bombs discovered near the Capitol and suggested that the FBI is more focused on prosecuting peaceful grandmothers. I’m thinking, Collins needs to get his facts straight.

On the anniversary of the January 6 attack, Collins posted a message on X characterizing the events as an unauthorized tour by peaceful elderly protesters. He claimed that peaceful protesters had been “hunted down, arrested, held in solitary confinement, and treated unjustly.” It’s like, Collins, come on, you can’t just rewrite history like that.

In conclusion, the Georgia Senate race is getting heated, and Collins’ comments are raising eyebrows. It’s time for him to take responsibility for his words and actions. As I finish my coffee, I’m left thinking, only in politics, folks, can you get away with saying such outrageous things. Bless their hearts, indeed!
