Interpol have returned to unveil This Mirror Weighs a Ton, their eighth album and first release since signing to Partisan Records.
Comprised of 12 songs, This Mirror Weighs a Ton was produced by Andrew Wyatt, known for being the frontman of Miike Snow and for his collaborations with Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga, and Liam Gallagher. It’s the band’s first new album since 2022’s The Other Side of Make-Believe and their first record with longtime touring member Brad Truax on bass. The band has described the release as a sonic step-up incorporating sound design and woodwinds.

Interpol are in the midst of a busy year, having performed at major 2026 festivals like Coachella, Mad Cool, and London’s All Points East.
