Legendary metal drummer Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Misfits) and pioneering ambient electronic artist Lustmord have formed a new project fittingly called Lustmord Lombardo, and have announced their debut album, The Pulse of Atoms, out October 2nd via Ipecac Records. The duo has released the lead single “Paleomagnetic Resonance,” along with a visualizer for the song.

Music Style and Influences
“Paleomagnetic Resonance” is a brooding atmospheric drone track, leaning on quite spacious approaches to noise.
