Five Finger Death Punch have announced their new album Legacy, due out July 31st digitally and September 18th on physical formats. Alongside the album, Five Finger Death Punch have released a new single titled “De Oppresso Liber.” Guitarist Zoltan Bathory stated, “Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests. It’s a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles, and everything we’ve experienced over the last two decades.”
Vocalist Ivan Moody added, “At the same time, Legacy isn’t about looking backward. 20 years is a milestone, not a destination. We’re incredibly proud of this record because it captures everything people love about Five Finger Death Punch while also pointing toward where we’re headed next.” Zoltan Bathory commented on the song, “‘De Oppresso Liber’ is more than just a motto. It’s a calling. It’s a philosophy. It represents a willingness to stand between danger and those who cannot defend themselves.”
The album Legacy will be available in a number of physical editions, including vinyls in clear, amber wave, metallic silver, blood moon, green marble, yellow marble, orange, cloud, smoke, and picture disc, three different exclusive CD editions on top of the standard, as well as an indie-exclusive cassette release.
