Amyl and the Sniffers are set to release a new live album and concert film, titled Truth or Consequence, which will arrive this fall. The project was recorded at Los Angeles’ El Coyote restaurant on April 28th, 2025, and features the Australian punk rockers putting a country spin on their discography, including two previously unreleased tracks and a cover of Slim Dusty’s “Lights on the Hill.”
Live Album and Concert Film Details
The live album and concert film, Truth or Consequence, captures Amyl and the Sniffers performing in an intimate setting, with a country twang. The project was filmed by longtime collaborator John Angus Stewart, who has previously directed the band’s videos for “Hertz,” “Guided by Angels,” and several others. The concert film will begin screening at select theaters around the world on August 27th, with US theatrical dates to be announced, and the accompanying live album will arrive on September 4th via Virgin Music Group.
Upcoming Tour Dates
Amyl and the Sniffers will be touring in support of Truth or Consequence, with dates scheduled in Europe and North America. The band will return to the US on October 1st in Dallas, before playing both weekends of Austin City Limits and concerts in Atlanta, Raleigh, Nashville, and New Orleans.
