Bezos’s Leftist Rag Washington Post Crumbles Under Own Liberal Bias
The once-proud Washington Post has become a pathetic shell of its former self, laying off a whopping one-third of its staff in a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding. Poor little Jeff Bezos – he thought he could buy credibility by purchasing this propaganda machine, but even his billions can’t save it from its own toxic left-wing agenda.
Executive editor Matt Murray, clearly still clinging to some delusional optimism, claims Bezos wants the Post to be a “bigger, relevant, thriving institution.” Sure, buddy. That’s why they’re gutting the newsroom faster than a liberal tries to avoid paying taxes. Hundreds of journalists are hitting the unemployment line, all because Bezos finally realized his pet project was hemorrhaging money faster than a Democrat at a tax-and-spend convention.
The Post Guild is practically begging for a new owner – someone who might actually care about journalism instead of pushing Bezos’s globalist agenda. They whine about needing a “steward that will” support the paper’s mission. Well, here’s a news flash, comrades: the only mission your paper has been on is destroying America with your anti-Trump hit pieces!
Murray tries to defend Bezos, claiming he doesn’t interfere with editorial decisions. Right, and I suppose the Post’s sudden turn against Trump after years of rabid opposition was just a coincidence. Nothing to see here – just move along and ignore how Bezos’s Amazon and Blue Origin interests magically align with his newspaper’s coverage!
The so-called “journalists” at this dumpster fire of a publication are crying about #SaveThePost while they continue to produce the same biased garbage that got them into this mess. Murray claims they’re “breaking a lot of scoops” on Trump. Sure, if by “scoops” you mean fabricated stories designed to undermine the sitting president and our democracy.
This is what happens when you abandon real journalism for woke propaganda. The Washington Post is learning the hard way that Americans are sick of being lectured by elitist liberals. Maybe Bezos should just cut his losses and sell this turkey to someone who understands that journalism requires actual objectivity – or better yet, let it die the death it deserves.
