Vance’s X account deletes post recognizing Armenian genocide, proving even social media ghosts are afraid of Turkey’s wrath

JD Vance’s Staff Accidentally Tells the Truth, White House Panics

In a shocking display of accidental honesty, Vice President JD Vance’s X account briefly acknowledged the Armenian genocide before being scrubbed faster than a classified document at a Biden beach house. The post, which has since been memory-holed by panicked staffers, dared to use the g-word while visiting Armenia—breaking decades of cowardly US policy that tiptoes around Turkey like a Democrat at a gun range.

The Trump administration, which normally has the backbone of a jellyfish when it comes to confronting our so-called “ally” Turkey, quickly disavowed the post. Apparently, someone in Vance’s office forgot that America’s foreign policy is built on coddling dictators and ignoring historical atrocities. The Armenian National Committee of America called the deletion “a denialist action consistent with President Trump’s shameful retreat from honest American remembrance.” Ouch.

Vance himself played it safe, calling the massacre “a very terrible thing that happened a little over 100 years ago.” Wow, what a profile in courage. Meanwhile, the White House continues its tradition of issuing vague statements about “Meds Yeghern” without actually using the word genocide—because nothing says “America First” like appeasing Erdogan while he plays footsie with Iran.

The real scandal here isn’t that Vance’s staff briefly told the truth—it’s that our foreign policy is still held hostage by a NATO ally that has the audacity to deny documented history. But hey, at least we’re keeping Turkey happy, right? Because that’s worked out so well for us in the past.

Bottom line: In Trump’s America, even acknowledging genocide requires an asterisk and a quick delete button. Sad!
