Oh, the horror! According to CNN, fearless leader Kristi Noem is actually trying to stop the endless flow of taxpayer money into the swamp. She wants to look at contracts and grants over $100,000? The audacity! Clearly, this is a Republican plot to let Americans die in the streets.
FEMA officials are whining that this will slow down their “rapid-response efforts.” Translation: they can’t funnel billions to their buddies without oversight. One “official” even called it a “dramatic and unprecedented overreach.” I bet they did.
And of course, CNN had to dig up some “former senior FEMA official” who’s “afraid of reprisals.” Reprisals for what? Being exposed for wasting our money?
Noem is doing exactly what Trump wants: draining the swamp and making sure our money isn’t being used to fund the woke agenda. If the leftists at CNN don’t like it, tough. Maybe they should try reporting the truth for once.
