"We're All In This Together": A Family's Hilarious Journey of Packing Up and Leaving the US (Voluntarily!) | CNN Politics

Another day, another sob story from CNN about someone leaving our great nation because of President Trump’s commitment to enforcing the law. Boo hoo!

Sasha and Julio Mendoza, a mixed-status couple from Pittsburgh, are packing their bags and heading south of the border. Julio, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, and Sasha, his US citizen wife, claim Trump’s return to office has them living in fear. Apparently, enforcing immigration laws is now a cause for “anxiety.”

Julio, bless his heart, arrived in the US at age 11 and became a “Mexican Yinzer,” decked out in Steelers gear and speaking Pittsburghese. But now, he’s ditching the black and gold for… well, whatever they wear in Mexico.

Sasha whines about the fear of Julio being “attacked” or their kids being “pulled out of school.” Give me a break! This is just more fear-mongering from the liberal media to make Trump look like a monster.

They even consulted attorneys who told them there was no path to citizenship. Maybe if Julio had followed the rules and come here legally, things would be different.

CNN is trying to paint this as some kind of tragedy, but I see it as a win-win. We get rid of someone who shouldn’t be here in the first place, and they get to go “back to their roots.” Don’t let the door hit you on the way out! And good riddance to the American wife too.
