On Thursday, Sept. 10, from 12 to 2 p.m. ET, Corvino is teaming up with eBay (because what’s more fashionable than bidding on used clothes? 🤣) for a fashion show at her NYC showroom, where models, influencers, and tastemakers will wear 40 hard-to-get looks that shoppers can snag within seconds. Because, you know, the thrill of the auction is what makes fashion truly exciting 🎊. And don’t worry if you can’t attend in person, you can always watch from the comfort of your own home and bid on the clothes in real-time, all while eating Cheetos and drinking soda 🍿👀.
“We’re not taking The NY Archive out of its world and putting it onto a traditional runway; we’re transforming the Archive itself into one,” Corvino tells ET, because who needs a traditional runway when you can just use a bunch of old clothes and call it a “concept”? 🤷♀️👗 The entire landscape of the showroom becomes the backdrop with cheetah-print ceilings, pink shelving filled with designer pieces, a pink-and-chrome pool table, and walls lined with vintage. Then, we’ll have an intermission, turn over the room for a new group of guests, and come back with another 20 looks and another show,” Corvino explains, because who needs a coherent fashion show when you can just have a bunch of random models walking around in old clothes? 🤷♀️👗
