It’s like they’re trying to downplay the whole thing, and it’s just not fooling anyone.

But it’s not like they can just magic it away – the US military is still actively targeting Iranian positions, and we’ve got updated casualty figures showing 790 US service members wounded and 18 killed since the conflict began. That’s not exactly something you can sweep under the rug.
It’s interesting to see how the US is handling the situation, with multi-faceted operations like the one on Tuesday, where they hit nearly 60 military targets around the strait. The US military expects to keep conducting these strikes, which they’re calling “mowing the grass” or a game of “whack-a-mole.” It’s not exactly a reassuring thought, but I suppose it’s better than just sitting back and doing nothing.
The energy companies are still nervous about sending ships through the strait, even with military escorts, and it’s no wonder – the risks are huge.
