Oh boy, are you guys ready for the most epic collaboration of the century? 🤯 I mean, who wouldn’t want to see Bruce Dickinson, the legendary frontman of IRON MAIDEN, team up with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra to create a symphonic masterpiece? 🎸 It’s not like we’ve seen enough of these rock-meets-classical fusions already… 😒 Anyway, on January 30, 2027, at the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland, Dickinson will perform his solo works in original symphonic arrangements, because why not? 🤷‍♂️ The program will also feature scores based on the greatest hits of METALLICA, QUEEN, and AC/DC, because who doesn’t love a good ol’ fashioned rock orchestra? 🎶

The Beethoven Academy Orchestra, one of Poland’s leading symphony orchestras, will be led by Stanisław Słowiński, and the production will include guest vocalists and a modern visual setting, because, you know, it’s not just about the music anymore 📺. The soloists will include Grzegorz Kupczyk (ex-TURBO), Andrzej “Kobra” Kraiński (KOBRANOCKA), Grzegorz “Ornette” Stępień (ODDZIAŁ ZAMKNIĘTY), and Tomasz “Oley” Olejnik (PROLETARYAT), among others. And, of course, Marek Pająk (VADER) will be on guitar, because you can’t have a metal orchestra without some actual metal, right? 🤘

The Repertoire: A Mix of Old and New

The repertoire will feature Bruce Dickinson’s solo works, IRON MAIDEN hits, and symphonic arrangements of classics by METALLICA, QUEEN, DEEP PURPLE, and AC/DC. Because, why settle for just one genre when you can have them all? 🤯 It’s like a metalhead’s dream come true, or a recipe for disaster, depending on how you look at it 🤔. I mean, who wouldn’t want to hear “Master of Puppets” or “Bohemian Rhapsody” with a full orchestra? 🎵 It’s not like we’ve heard those songs enough already… 😴

But seriously, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra is no joke. They’re one of the leading symphony orchestras in Poland, made up of talented students and graduates from European music institutions.
