BREAKING IN A SEQUENCE saves music with new single Dont Run obviously

Oh boy, are you guys ready for this? 🤯 BREAKING IN A SEQUENCE just dropped a new single, “Don’t Run”, and I’m still trying to pick my jaw up from the floor. I mean, who needs personal relationships or a social life when you have a band that’s been melding together for a year and a half? The result is a track that’s so good, it’ll make you forget all about your existential dread… for like, 3 minutes and 30 seconds. The song is part of their upcoming album “Inanimate”, because who needs human connection when you can have a sick beat? 🤖

The band comments that “‘Don’t Run’ was the first song written with new drummer BC Vaught” and that it “carries the nu metal torch from the early 2000’s with a perfect blend of melody, groove and aggression.” Wow, I’m impressed. They managed to blend all those genres together without sounding like a messy Spotify playlist. The single was produced by Chris Collier, because who needs sleep when you can produce a banger like this? 🎧

The Birth of a New Chapter

BREAKING IN A SEQUENCE is a melodic alternative metal band from Huntington Beach, California, because of course they are. The band was formed in late 2018 by Joe Taback, Chris Dorame, and David Silveria (KORN), because who wouldn’t want to start a band with a member of KORN? They later recruited Rich Nguyen after a worldwide singer search, because who needs a social life when you can have a singer with a great voice? 🌎

When David retired in 2022, BC Vaught (HED) P.E., BREAKING BENJAMIN) stepped in to fill his shoes, because who needs a stable drummer when you can have a drummer with a cool resume? 🤘 Rich Nguyen said in a recent interview that he was ready to hang it up after David left, but then BC Vaught joined and everything was okay again. Because, you know, the band’s success depends on the drummer’s ability to groove. 🤪

A Look Back

BREAKING IN A SEQUENCE released its debut EP, “Acronym”, in January 2021, because who doesn’t love a good acronym? 🤔 The band’s current lineup includes Richard Nguyen on vocals, BC Vaught on drums, Michael William Martin on guitar, Joe Taback on guitar and backup vocals, and Chris Dorame on bass. Because, you know, a band isn’t a band without a bunch of guys with cool names. 🤟

So, what are you waiting for? Go listen to “Don’t Run” and experience the magic of BREAKING IN A SEQUENCE for yourself. And if you’re feeling extra adventurous, go check out their upcoming album “Inanimate” when it drops later this year. Just don’t forget to bring your existential dread, because, you know, it’s a metal album. 🤘🎸
