On Friday, February 27th from 7-9pm, Hollywood Confidential will give Loretta Devine the VANGUARD Award (because apparently “Lifetime Achievement” was too basic). They’ll celebrate her iconic roles in The Preacher’s Wife, Grey’s Anatomy, This Christmas, Dreamgirls, and of course, the groundbreaking Waiting to Exhale. Special guests will be there, probably just to remind everyone they know Loretta too.
Best part? It’s FREE! But if you want to sit your butt in a guaranteed seat, cough up some cash for preferred seating. Doors open at 6pm sharp, so don’t be fashionably late or you’ll be stuck standing in the back like a peasant.
