Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have been working with new drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold to get the band’s complicated songs just right. I mean, it’s not like they’re trying to replace Neil Peart or anything… 🙅♂️ According to Geddy, the rehearsal process was “intense and years in the making”. Yeah, because it takes a lot of work to perfect those 10-minute drum solos. 🤣 Anika had to learn 43 songs in the course of a year, which is no easy feat. But hey, at least she’s got the math skills to break down those complicated time signatures. 🤓
