So, let’s rewind to 2002, when WINDS OF PLAGUE was just a twinkle in someone’s eye, or rather, a gloomy thought in BLEAK DECEMBER. 🌧️ From the sunny shores of Los Angeles, this symphonic deathcore band emerged, ready to conquer the world… or at least your local Hot Topic. After some dramatic lineup changes that nobody remembers, they dropped their debut, “A Cold Day In Hell”, in 2005. Brrr! 🥶 Shortly after, they adopted their current moniker, because why not? Then came the big leagues! Signing with Century Media, they unleashed “Decimate The Weak” in 2008. Oh yeah, and then the real bangers like “The Great Stone War” (2009) and “Against The World” (2011), which featured guest spots from members of HATEBREED, TERROR and even the Ultimate Warrior. 🤼 Talk about a random team-up! Their later albums include “Resistance” (2013) and “Blood Of My Enemy” (2017), because apparently, they had more blood to spill. 🩸
Now, after years of radio silence (except for that one time their MySpace page got hacked), WINDS OF PLAGUE are returning to their roots. 🌳 Get ready for these reunion shows with the original lineup, promising to deliver the raw energy and chaos that first put them on the map. Will there be breakdowns? Probably. Will there be symphonies? Maybe. Will anyone remember the lyrics? Doubtful. 🤔 But hey, they’re celebrating over two decades of crushing symphonic deathcore! 🎉 So grab your eyeliner, dust off your old band tees, and prepare for a night of nostalgic headbanging (or awkward standing). 🤣
