Duane Davis, on the other hand, has written a memoir called “Compton Street Legend,” which details his life as a member of the South Side Compton Crips. He’s also made several media appearances, including a recent interview where he claimed he wasn’t even in Nevada at the time of Shakur’s death. Yeah, right. Marion “Suge” Knight is another key player in this case. He’s the founder of Death Row Records, which signed Tupac Shakur, and he’s been implicated in several violent incidents over the years.
