Democrat Chaos Crashes Economy: Jobs Report Shows 40,000 Jobs Added, Unemployment Stays at 4.4% as Government Shutdown Wrecks Data Collection

In a stunning display of incompetence that only Democrats could pull off, the November jobs report was delayed until Tuesday thanks to the longest government shutdown in history—a 43-day fiasco caused by Democrat obstructionists who apparently think running the country is like running a socialist commune. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, like most federal agencies, was shut down during this Democrat-engineered crisis, forcing them to skip October’s data entirely and bundle it with November’s report in a desperate attempt to make up for lost time.

What we got was a pathetic 40,000 jobs added in November with unemployment holding steady at 4.4%. That’s right, folks—under President Trump’s second term, the economy is still growing despite the Democrat-led shutdown that furloughed over 700,000 federal workers and delayed crucial economic data. The BLS had to extend their survey periods and give themselves extra processing time just to get this garbage report out.

Here’s the kicker: October’s data is basically nonexistent because the Census Bureau couldn’t conduct household surveys during the shutdown. So we’re getting a “buy one, get one half-off” deal on jobs reports, with October’s partial data tacked onto November’s numbers. It’s like trying to read a book with every other page missing, but somehow the Democrats think this is normal governance.

The establishment survey showed some growth, but the household survey—the one that actually counts real people—was so messed up by the shutdown that even the BLS admits there’s a “big asterisk” on these numbers. They extended the collection periods and gave themselves extra time, but you can’t magic up data that wasn’t collected during the shutdown.

And let’s not forget the DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) program that’s been removing 100,000 to 150,000 federal workers from payrolls. That’s 5% of federal employment disappearing, which will make October’s numbers look even worse than they already are. But hey, at least we’re not printing money like the Democrats want to do with their socialist policies.

The real story here isn’t the 40,000 jobs—it’s that Democrats can’t govern their way out of a paper bag. They shut down the government, crashed the data collection system, and now we’re stuck with half-baked reports that don’t tell us what we need to know about the economy. Meanwhile, President Trump is trying to run the country while these clowns are busy playing political games.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s inflation report, which will probably be delayed until next month because the Democrats decided to shut down the Consumer Price Index office during their temper tantrum. God bless America—and God help us when these socialist maniacs get their hands on the budget again.
