King Charles’ Climate Crusade Hits Prime Video – Get Ready for Another Royal Guilt Trip!
King Charles III, the British monarch who somehow thinks he’s Mother Nature’s personal assistant, is releasing a new documentary that will make you want to trade your SUV for a horse and buggy. In “Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision,” available on Amazon Prime starting February 6, the 77-year-old king lectures viewers about how we’re all “nature ourselves” and should stop being “apart from it.”
The documentary, produced with his King’s Foundation charity, features Charles watching old clips of himself warning about plastic pollution back in 1970 – because apparently, being called “bonkers” for talking to plants wasn’t embarrassing enough the first time around.
The premiere at Windsor Castle was a star-studded affair, with British acting royalty like Judi Dench, Kenneth Branagh, and Kate Winslet showing up to kiss the ring of the man who thinks he can save the planet one chicken coop (dubbed “Cluckingham Palace”) at a time. Winslet, who narrates the film, praised Charles for his “great vision and foresight” – which apparently means turning Dumfries House in Scotland into his personal eco-playground.
The 90-minute guilt trip follows Charles as he wanders through his various estates, declaring that red Duke of York potatoes make the perfect baked potato with crispy skin. Riveting stuff. He also reminisces about his “risky decision” to purchase Dumfries House, where he’s been “demonstrating how you can regenerate an entire area” by building chicken coops and planting gardens.
In true royal fashion, Charles warns that “it’s rapidly going backwards” in the fight against climate change – a fight he’s been losing for the last 40 years, according to him. But don’t worry, he’s got it all figured out: sustainability, biodiversity loss, and why we’re all “destroying our means of survival.” Thanks, Charlie, we’ll get right on that.
The documentary also features archival footage of young Princes William and Harry, presumably to remind us that even royal children weren’t spared from their father’s eco-preaching. Because nothing says “family bonding” like being forced to watch Dad yell at plants.
So mark your calendars for February 6, when you can stream “Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision” and learn why a man who lives in multiple castles and travels by private jet thinks he’s qualified to lecture the rest of us about reducing our carbon footprint. It’s sure to be a real treat for anyone who enjoys being told how to live by someone who’s never had to worry about a grocery bill in their life.
