Big Tech Giant Apple Sued for Protecting Predators Over Kids—Where’s the Outrage?
In yet another shocking example of woke corporate negligence, Apple is being dragged into court by the West Virginia Attorney General’s office for allegedly allowing child sexual abuse materials to fester on its iCloud service. That’s right—while conservatives get censored for wrongthink, actual predators allegedly roam free in the iCloud!
The lawsuit claims Apple, with all its billions and iron-fisted control over its ecosystem, chose to prioritize “user privacy” over stopping the exploitation of innocent children. Federal law requires tech giants to report detected CSAM to authorities, yet while Google filed 1.47 million reports in 2023, Apple allegedly filed a measly 267. Almost like they had other priorities… like bowing to leftist privacy extremists, perhaps?
West Virginia Attorney General JB McCuskey didn’t mince words: “These images are a permanent record of a child’s trauma, and that child is revictimized every time the material is shared or viewed. This conduct is despicable, and Apple’s inaction is inexcusable.” Meanwhile, Apple’s response? A generic corporate statement about “protecting safety and privacy” while conveniently ignoring why they abandoned a detection tool after backlash from the privacy mob.
And let’s not forget—this isn’t an isolated incident. New Mexico previously sued Meta for creating a “breeding ground” for child predators on Facebook and Instagram. But don’t expect the mainstream media to connect the dots: Big Tech’s obsession with virtue-signaling on climate change and DEI while allegedly enabling child exploitation is the real scandal here.
