Wow, just what we’ve all been waiting for – more Doro Pesch music! 🤩 I mean, who doesn’t need a little more metal in their lives, am I right? 😂 Just in time for her “Winter Magic” tour on December 11, 2026, the German metal queen is blessing us with a new album, “Wild At Heart”, because clearly, we didn’t have enough Doro in our lives already. I’m not complaining or anything, but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard this exact same announcement like, five times before. 🙄
So, let’s get into it. The first single, “Rock You 2 Death”, was released in September, and now we have a new treat – the super ballad “You R Not Alone”. Because, you know, what’s a metal album without a power ballad, right? 🙄 According to Doro, this song is “one of the most beautiful and bombastic ballads of the Metal Queen!” Hmm, I wonder if she’s biased at all. 😏
The Album
“Wild At Heart” is a nine-course menu (yes, that’s what she called it) of new killer tracks, and Doro comments: “This song totally gets under your skin, has a very positive message and hits right in the heart. ‘You R Not Alone’ has an incredible amount of feeling and could become a second ‘forever’!” Yeah, because nothing says “forever” like a power ballad. 💔 I mean, I’m not saying it’s not a great song, but come on, Doro, you’re a metal queen, not a Hallmark card writer. 🙃
Anyway, the album is being released on Doro’s own label, Rare Diamonds Production (distributed by Edel), and it’s available in like, a million different formats, including a liquid-filled vinyl filled with dark red glitter. Because, you know, that’s exactly what I want – a vinyl that’s just begging to be spilled all over my floor. 🤦♀️
Doro’s Legacy
In case you didn’t know, Doro is a total legend in the metal scene. Like, she’s been doing this for decades and has sold over 10 million albums. She’s also played over 3,500 concerts across 60 countries, which is just, wow. 🤯 I mean, I’m tired just thinking about it. 😴 In March 2025, she even received a lifetime achievement award in her former hometown of Düsseldorf, presented by Klaus Meine, frontman of the Scorpions. Yeah, she’s kind of a big deal. 🙌
But hey, even with all her success, Doro is still cranking out new music and touring like a rockstar (because, you know, she is one). Her latest album, “Conqueress – Forever Strong And Proud”, was released in October 2023 via Nuclear Blast, and now we have “Wild At Heart” to look forward to. Because, you know, we didn’t have enough Doro music in our lives already. 🙄 I mean, I’m not complaining or anything, but can we just have a Doro Pesch music festival already? That way, we can just get all our Doro fix in one place. 🤣
In conclusion, “Wild At Heart” is coming, and it’s going to be a whole thing. 🎉 I mean, it’s not like we have a choice or anything – Doro is just going to keep on touring and releasing music until we all surrender to her metal greatness. 🤣 And honestly, I’m kind of okay with that. 🤷♀️ After all, as the great philosopher, Doro Pesch, once said, “You R Not Alone”… in your love of metal music, that is. 😂
