STELLAR CIRCUITS to unleash 3rd album, ‘Phantom :: Phoenix’ – Prepare for eargasms in November

sTELLARCIRCUITS

Oh, great, another band thinks they’ve discovered fire 🔥. North Carolina’s STELLAR CIRCUITS, who apparently made some noise last year with “Sight To Sound” (never heard of it 🤷), is dropping “Phantom :: Phoenix” on November 14th via Nuclear Blast Records. Prepare to be reborn… or just bored.

Ben Beddick, the band’s vocalist (because every metal band needs one), says, and I quote, “‘death and rebirth through fire.'” Riveting. He claims they’re killing off old parts of themselves. Newsflash, Ben: That’s called growing up. Also, they’re getting all “vulnerable.” Translation: expect some whiny lyrics about feelings.🙄

Beddick continues with even more profound insights: “Everybody went through different periods of loss and grief during this process.” OMG, like no one else EVER has, right? “I think that it shows through in the subject matter and the sounds that came out of it.” No freakin’ way?! Loss and grief in a metal album? Groundbreaking. 🙄 They’re pushing themselves to new places, apparently. It’s a representation of the cycle. Hope it can act as a catalyst for growth to those who listen. Translation: listen and maybe you’ll feel something, anything, please, we’re begging you🙏.

The band’s first single, “I See Your Spirit,” embodies the album’s theme. So original. Beddick claims his house caught fire 🔥 while writing the vocals. Coincidence? I think not! Probably just a publicity stunt to sell more records💿. He almost died, but hey, at least he got a song out of it! He even says the experience was “unsettling.” Ya think, genius?! The chorus has a line that says “I see your spirit. It’s like a flame.” Deep. So deep, I think I need a snorkel🤿.

Here’s the track list, in case you care:

01. I See Your Spirit
02. Queen Mary
03. Silhouette
04. Elegant Illusion
05. The War Within
06. Bury The Ashes
07. Corridor
08. Gloria
09. Same Page
10. Paris

Sounds like a random playlist generated by a bot🤖.

STELLAR CIRCUITS is supposedly making a “powerful impact” in the progressive metal scene. Riiiight. Their album “Sight To Sound” (still haven’t heard of it 🤷) apparently fuses “punishing grooves, intricate melodies, and emotional weight.” So, basically every other metal album ever made? Tracks like “Witch House” and “Catch Your Death” showcase a “darker, more evolved edge.” Edgy! 😈

The band, consisting of Ben Beddick (vocals), Jesse Olsen (bass), Tyler Menon (drums), and Jared Stamey (guitar), has a “reputation” for live performances. They’ve toured with CHEVELLE and ARCH ECHO. Who? Never heard of them either🤣.

Now, they’re “preparing” to enter a “bold new chapter.” Prepare yourselves for more of the same, folks. “Phantom :: Phoenix” is a “cinematic and visceral exploration of light and dark.” Translation: lots of pretentious metaphors and loud guitars🎸. It delves into themes of “personal transformation and the rebirth of the self through fire.” So deep🙄. They’re challenging the listener. To stay awake💤, probably. With new music on the horizon and a sharpened creative vision, STELLAR CIRCUITS is “poised to break new ground and leave a lasting mark on the genre.” Don’t hold your breath.💨

Here’s a music video. Prepare to be amazed… or not🤷.
