Well, folks, I almost spilled my coffee reading this one. A daredevil couple, Angelina Nikolau and Ivan Kuznetsov, decided to take their love to new heights – literally. They climbed the Empire State Building, got engaged, and even unfurled a banner with a sweet message: “When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace.” How’s that for a romantic gesture?
The couple, who are social media influencers, apparently hid in a maintenance room overnight to avoid security. They purchased tickets to the observation deck and then managed to sneak past security to reach the spire. I mean, who needs a fancy dinner or a beach proposal when you can just climb a skyscraper, right?
According to the NYPD, the couple faces charges of burglary, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief. But hey, at least they got a great story out of it. And who knows, maybe their love will conquer all – including the law.
As I was reading this article, I couldn’t help but think, “Bless their hearts.” I mean, who takes such a huge risk for love? It’s not every day you see someone climbing the Empire State Building to propose. And the fact that they got away with it (well, sort of) is just mind-boggling.
The Empire State Building spokesperson called the stunt “unauthorized,” but I think we can all agree that it was certainly… creative. And the couple’s message of love and peace? Well, that’s just the icing on the cake.
In conclusion, this story is just another example of how love can drive people to do crazy things. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll see a movie based on this wild romance. Until then, I’ll just be over here, sipping my coffee and shaking my head in awe of this daredevil couple.
