Turnstile Scores Big With Five Guys Feature

Turnstile Scores Big With Five Guys Feature

Turnstile, the “BLACKOUT” band, are beefing out. Five Guys, the burger restaurant, selected the 2026 Grammy-winning Baltimore hardcore group as its featured artist on September 4th. In a social media post by the restaurant announcing this honor, Turnstile took to the comments to ask “When we gettin a veggie burger?” Notably, at least one member of the band, drummer Daniel Fang, has talked about being a vegetarian in the past.

Being a Five Guys featured artist apparently means a band’s song is put on the restaurant’s playlist, and they’re spotlighted on its website. So don’t be surprised if you walk into Five Guys and hear “BIRDS” blending with the sound of sizzling meat and bubbling fryers.

Previous Featured Artists

Turnstile aren’t the first punk or punk-adjacent band to earn this prestigious spot. The Offspring, Taking Back Sunday, and Mayday Parade have also reached this rarefied air with Five Guys, which has a section on its website dedicated to music. The hardcore five-piece have done cross promotions with brands before. Their music was in a Taco Bell commercial last year with Tony Hawk.

The band can now put the Five Guys featured artist honor right next to their two Grammy awards.

Turnstile are on tour until mid-October and hit Toronto September 12th. They also play Camp Flog Gnaw in November.
