Super Troopers Crash Limp Bizkit Concert Over Noise Complaint

Limp Bizkit’s performance of “Break Stuff” at the “Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival” in Tinley Park, Illinois, was interrupted by comedy troupe Broken Lizard, who stormed the stage in full Super Troopers outfits to issue a “noise complaint.” The act occurred on Saturday night, with the nu-metal veterans closing their set with the song that would see the comedy crew take the stage. The crowd was initially unaware of the ruse, but soon realized what was happening and joined in on the fun.

The comedy troupe, Broken Lizard, barged onstage during Limp Bizkit‘s performance of “Break Stuff” to issue the band a “noise complaint.” The act was a hilarious moment that brought the crowd to their feet. Initially, the crowd seemed unaware of the ruse, but as the Broken Lizard members began to speak, it became clear that it was all a joke.

The Comedy Routine

One of the members of Broken Lizard said, “Shut up, all you chicken-fuckers. With these lights on, I can see all you chicken-fuckers there. You’re a chicken-fucker, you’re a chicken-fucker. All of you up there are chicken-fuckers.” It was at this point that the crowd realized what was happening, with the bit’s ending being the Broken Lizard crew partying on stage with Limp Bizkit during their performance of “Break Stuff.”

Limp Bizkit has been known to have fun with their performances, and this was just another example. Earlier this month, the band invited comedian Tom Green to the stage at a show in Ottawa. The former MTV personality joined the nu-metal band for their performance of “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle).”
