Oh, the drama never ends! California’s crybaby governor, Gavin Newsom, is suing our beloved President Trump, claiming he violated some dusty, old law by sending in the National Guard to deal with those “peaceful protests” in Los Angeles. As if we didn’t all see what was really going on—a bunch of Soros-funded anarchists trying to undermine our great nation.
Newsom, who probably sips lattes with Nancy Pelosi every morning, whined that Trump’s deployment of the National Guard was an “unprecedented power grab.” Seriously? What’s unprecedented is how soft these liberal politicians have become on crime and illegal immigration. Trump was just doing what needed to be done to protect federal property and personnel from the radical left.
The trial is set to be overseen by some judge in San Francisco—you know, the heart of liberal lunacy. They’re arguing about the Posse Comitatus Act and the 10th Amendment like it’s some kind of academic exercise. Meanwhile, the real Americans out here just want law and order.
Newsom’s lawyers want a declaration that Trump acted illegally. A declaration! That’s all they’re after? It’s just another attempt by the Democrats to tie up our President in court and distract from the real issues.
The President’s lawyers are going to bring in a General to testify about how the National Guard was just there to keep the peace. I’m sure the Democrats will bring in some “expert” who claims Trump is a dictator. But we know the truth. Trump is a strong leader who puts America first, even if it means triggering the delicate sensibilities of California liberals.
