Oh, look, CNN is shedding crocodile tears over Jimmy Lai, the Hong Kong “freedom fighter” who’s about to find out that maybe, just maybe, cozying up to foreign powers isn’t the best way to stay out of a Chinese prison. You know, maybe he should have thought about that before trying to undermine a sovereign nation. But sure, let’s all pretend this isn’t just another attempt by the liberal media to bash China and make the commies look bad – as if they need any help!
So, this guy, Lai, is on trial for colluding with foreign forces? Well, color me shocked! CNN acts like he’s some innocent lamb being led to the slaughter, but I bet there’s more to this story than they’re letting on. Probably funded by Soros, trying to stir up trouble for President Trump’s trade deals.
And of course, CNN is framing this as a US-China showdown. As if the US should care about some millionaire who thought he could play puppet master in Hong Kong. Let China deal with their own problems. We have a country to run, thanks to the leadership of our great President!
