The Mavericks? More Like The Meh-vericks

The Mavericks? More Like The Meh-vericks

**OMG! 🙄** **All That Jazz**, a 1979 cinematic masterpiece directed by Bobby Fosse and starring Roy Scheider as a totally not obsessive director. It’s like, Fosse’s life but make it ✨drama✨. Poor Robert Alan Aurthur died a year before release. Tragic!😭

It’s about editing “Lenny” (1974) and doing “Chicago” at the same time. Scheider’s character is so Fosse, it hurts. Jessica Lange, Ann Reinking co-star. The title? Stolen from “Chicago”.🤣

Critics were obsessed: creativity, ambition, Roy Scheider. Some said it was pretentious🤷. Won the Palme d’Or at the 1980 Cannes Film Festival & 4 Oscars. Stanley Kubrick said it was the best film ever. So extra!💅
