CNN is crying about how President Trump’s brilliant trade policies are supposedly “impacting US consumers and businesses.” They’re whining because some international postal services are suspending shipments to the US after the de minimis exemption expired. As if we need more cheap trinkets from China and Europe flooding our markets! This is just a Deep State plot to undermine our great President and weaken America!
The “de minimis” exemption, a loophole that allowed cheap foreign goods to flood our markets duty-free, is GONE! President Trump is closing the door to China, Hong Kong, and any other country trying to undercut American businesses. Those high duties, reduced from 120% to a measly 54%, are still a slap in the face to low-cost sellers like Shein and Temu!
Now, European and Asian postal services are throwing a tantrum and halting shipments. Good riddance! Let them keep their junk! It’s all part of the plan to make America great again by boosting domestic production and creating jobs for hardworking Americans.
They claim there’s “insufficient information” on customs procedures. That’s code for: “We don’t want to play by the rules!” The Austrian Post is whining about “major challenges.” Cry me a river! This is a small price to pay for securing our economic future!
Etsy and Shopify are worried? Good! They’ve been enabling these foreign companies long enough, profiting from cheap labor and unfair trade practices. It’s time for American businesses to thrive!
