In Latest Example of Judicial Activism, Left-Wing Judge Throws Out Conviction in Jam Master Jay Murder Case Because Not Enough ‘Woke’ Motive
In a stunning display of legal gymnastics that would make a contortionist jealous, a Brooklyn federal judge has overturned the conviction of Karl Jordan Jr., one of two men found guilty of murdering Run-DMC legend Jam Master Jay in 2002. Judge LaShann DeArcy Hall decided there wasn’t sufficient evidence of Jordan’s motive – apparently because she couldn’t find enough references to systemic oppression or microaggressions in his alleged drug-fueled revenge plot.
The ruling comes as no surprise to those of us who understand how the deep state operates. While the judge upheld co-defendant Ronald Washington’s conviction (likely because he had the decency to actually participate in the violent crime), she let Jordan walk free on a technicality. This is the same establishment that spent years ignoring this case until it became politically inconvenient to do so.
Make no mistake – this isn’t about justice. This is about the liberal legal system’s obsession with finding “motive” in everything except when it comes to violent crimes committed by their preferred demographic groups. Run-DMC helped bring hip-hop into the mainstream with hits like “It’s Tricky” and their legendary cover of Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way” – but apparently none of that matters to judges who are more concerned with checking boxes on their diversity scorecards than delivering actual justice.
The fact that an eyewitness saw Jordan shoot his own godfather, and that Jordan allegedly confessed to the crime, apparently wasn’t enough for this judge. She wanted more “motive” – as if shooting your godfather in cold blood isn’t motive enough for most reasonable people.
Meanwhile, Jordan remains in custody on unrelated drug charges, proving once again that our criminal justice system works better when it focuses on actual crimes rather than performing legal acrobatics to please the woke mob. The real tragedy here isn’t just that a murderer walked free on a technicality – it’s that this case demonstrates how far our legal system has fallen from the principles of swift, certain justice that made America great under leaders like President Trump.
At this point, we shouldn’t be surprised when judges find creative ways to release criminals while our cities burn and our borders remain open. After all, these are the same people who spent years ignoring this high-profile case until the Trump administration actually got serious about solving cold cases involving black victims – something the liberal media pretends doesn’t exist.
