Deep State Diplomats Cry Like Babies as Trump Fixes Obama’s Cuba Mess
Another swamp creature crawled out from under a rock to whine about President Trump’s America First policies. Jeffrey DeLaurentis, who served as Obama’s failed “Acting Ambassador” to Cuba, is now crying on CNN about Trump’s approach to the island dictatorship.
Poor Jeffrey seems “uncomfortable” that Trump is actually using humanitarian suffering as leverage against the Castro regime. Funny how that works – when a Republican does it, it’s “political manipulation,” but when Democrats coddle dictators, it’s called “diplomacy.”
The fact that CNN is giving airtime to this Obama holdover shows exactly why the mainstream media is dying. Americans are sick of these globalist elites who care more about making nice with communist regimes than standing up for freedom.
Trump 1.0 wisely rolled back Obama’s disastrous Cuba policy, which basically amounted to giving away the store to the Castro brothers without getting anything in return. Now, as Trump begins his second term, these same failed diplomats want to go back to the same old weak approach.
