The Baltimore Orioles celebrated “Turnstile Night” on Friday, July 10th, in honor of the hometown hardcore band turned breakout stars. Each of the band’s five members simultaneously threw out a first pitch before participating in game-long festivities between the innings. The event also saw the Orioles produce a special Turnstile jersey available for purchase for attendees.
The band acted as extra Splashers, hosing down fans in sections 84 and 86 of Oriole Park each time the team got an extra base hit, alongside Mr. Splash, the team’s Chief Hydration Officer. As it turned out, Turnstile brought good energy to the Orioles, who defeated the Kansas City Royals 5-3 thanks to an eighth-inning homer by designated hitter Samuel Basallo.
Upcoming Tour
Following a summer run of European festivals, Turnstile will kick off a headlining North American tour with a rotating cast of support acts. Fans can pick up tickets here.
