Nickelback have announced a new album titled Everything Under the Sun, set to arrive October 30th via Virgin Music Group. In advance of its release, the band has unveiled the single “Rattle the Cage” featuring Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5.
Album Details
Everything Under the Sun marks Nickelback’s 11th studio album overall, and the follow-up to 2022’s Get Rollin’.
Frontman Chad Kroeger stated, “This album has every side of the band on it. There are songs that hit as hard as anything we’ve ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we’ve been doing this together for so long.”
The single “Rattle the Cage” falls on the heavier side of the Nickelback spectrum, as Kroeger delivers his signature raspy vocals over metallic riffs, with some nifty guitar-work by John 5.
New Single and Album Pre-Order
Kroeger noted, “‘Rattle the Cage’ felt like the perfect way to kick the door open — it has the energy we’ve been feeding off every night on stage, and we can’t wait for people to hear it.”
