Mötley Crüe kicked off their Summer 2026 North American tour with Extreme and Tesla on Friday in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, playing a hits-heavy 17-song set. The extensive 33-city tour, dubbed “The Return of the Carnival of Sins,” will run through a September 26th show in Ridgefield, Washington. Along the way it will hit such markets as Toronto, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Dallas, and Phoenix, among others.
The tour features Mötley Crüe performing a setlist that includes songs from their albums Too Fast for Love, Shout at the Devil, Dr. Feelgood, Girls, Girls, Girls, and Theater of Pain. The most represented albums on the show were also their two heaviest, Too Fast for Love and Shout at the Devil, with their bigger albums Dr. Feelgood, Girls, Girls, Girls and Theater of Pain taking a lesser role, while relatively underrated album Generation Swine made an appearance with “Afraid.”
Tour Details
The tour will feature Extreme and Tesla as opening acts. Extreme played a 10-song set that was heavy on their mega-hit album Pornograffiti, and also featured a sizable chunk of material from their newest LP, Six. Tesla, meanwhile, stuck to the hits, with only two songs from their most recent record Homage, a covers album, making the set.
Mötley Crüe opened up the show with “Red Hot,” a heavy metal thunderer from Shout at the Devil that leans closer to the heft of Accept than the theater of Poison in terms of the band’s sound. The setlist also included other hits like “Wild Side,” “Shout at the Devil,” “Too Fast for Love,” and “Kickstart My Heart.”
