Nickelback blesses us with footage of them not being hated for 5 whole minutes while making Rattle The Cage video

Nickelback AMAs 2011

I just spilled my beer all over my desk because I heard that Nickelback is releasing a new album, “Everything Under The Sun”, on October 30, 2026, via Virgin Music Group. I mean, it’s not like we’ve been waiting for this moment for years or anything… 😒. The band has shared behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the music video for “Rattle The Cage”, the first single from the album, which features a guest appearance by John 5. Because, you know, what’s a Nickelback song without a special guest, right? 🤷‍♂️.

So, “Everything Under The Sun” is the band’s first new music since 2022’s “Get Rollin'”, and it marks the beginning of a new era for the band. Yeah, because they didn’t already have a million eras before this one… 🙄. The album is supposed to deliver the complete spectrum of what has made Nickelback one of the biggest rock bands in the world, with towering arena-ready anthems, reflective songwriting, undeniable melodies, massive guitars, and the unmistakable chemistry that has defined the band for more than three decades. Wow, that sounds like a lot to live up to… 😅.

The Hype is Real (Or Is It?)

I mean, who doesn’t love a good Nickelback song, right? 🤷‍♂️. The band has been building momentum since the release of their acclaimed documentary “Hate To Love: Nickelback” and the record-breaking “Get Rollin'” world tour. I guess that’s what happens when you’re one of the most successful rock bands of the 21st century… 🤑. With nearly 60 million albums sold worldwide, billions of streams across digital platforms, and more than 50 million monthly listeners, Nickelback remains one of the most streamed and commercially successful rock bands in the world. But hey, who’s counting, right? 🤔.

According to Chad Kroeger, the band’s frontman, “This album has every side of the band on it. There are songs that hit as hard as anything we’ve ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we’ve been doing this together for so long.” Wow, that sounds like a real sales pitch… 📈. I mean, who wouldn’t want to buy an album that has every side of the band on it? 🤷‍♂️. The band has also released the track listing for the album, which includes songs like “Rattle The Cage”, “Bones For The Crows”, and “Simple Song”. Yeah, because those song titles don’t sound like they were written by a committee of marketing executives or anything… 🙄.

The Verdict: Should You Care?

So, should you be excited about Nickelback’s new album? 🤔. Well, that depends on how much you love Nickelback, I guess… 🙃. If you’re a die-hard fan, then yeah, you’re probably already pre-ordering the album and planning your outfits for the upcoming tour. But if you’re like me, and you’re just kinda… meh… about the whole thing, then maybe not so much… 🤷‍♂️. Either way, “Everything Under The Sun” is coming, whether we like it or not… 😂. So, buckle up, folks, and get ready for another era of Nickelback dominance… 🚀. Or not… 🤔.
