Oh boy, are you guys ready for some super exciting news? 🎉 I mean, who doesn’t love a 50-year-old movie getting a re-release? 🙄 It’s not like you’ve seen it a million times already or anything. Anyway, STUDIOCANAL is re-releasing the “cult classic” (aka old movie) THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH in 4K, because you know, the original wasn’t good enough 🤣. I mean, who needs a social life when you can watch a 50-year-old movie in slightly better quality? 📺
So, the movie is coming out in cinemas on November 13, and you can pre-order it here, because you know, you need to be the first one to get it 🎁. And, as a special treat, there’s a 50th Anniversary Collector’s Edition coming out on November 16, which includes a bunch of random stuff like posters, art cards, and a 100-page booklet 📚. Because, you know, you don’t have enough clutter in your house already 🏠.
The movie itself is about some alien dude (played by David Bowie, aka the coolest guy ever 🕺) who comes to Earth to steal our water 🌊. But, instead, he gets distracted by human things like relationships and wealth 💸, and forgets about his whole “saving my planet” thing 🙅♂️. It’s like, totally deep and stuff 🤯.
The special edition includes a bunch of extras, like a documentary about Bowie and the director, Nic Roeg, and how they made the movie 🎬. And, of course, there are interviews with people who knew Bowie, because who doesn’t love a good gossip session 🤗? There’s also a featurette about the making of the movie, and some other random stuff that you’ll probably never watch 📹.
So, if you’re feeling nostalgic for the 70s, or just want to see David Bowie in a movie, then this is the re-release for you 🎉! But, if you’re looking for something new and exciting, then keep looking, because this is just a re-release of an old movie 😴.
