Oh boy, are you guys ready for some exciting news? 🤯 I can barely contain my enthusiasm… STAIND is releasing a new album, and it’s going to be called “The Space Between The Darkness And The Light”! I mean, who wouldn’t want to listen to an album with a title that sounds like a teenager’s angst-ridden journal entry? 😂
So, according to Aaron Lewis, the band’s frontman, the album is done, but they have no idea when it’s going to be released. Because, you know, that’s exactly what you want to hear from a band – “we’ve got a new album, but no release date, just chill, dude.” 😒 As Lewis said, “I have no idea. I don’t know when the record comes out. I know it’ll come out soon. I know that it’s done.” Wow, thanks for the clarity, Aaron.
STAIND’s New Album: A Continuation of Their Signature Sound
Apparently, the new album is going to be a “hell of a record” (Lewis’ words, not mine), and it’s going to fit right in with the rest of their discography. Because, you know, STAIND is known for their super original and not-at-all-formulaic sound 🙄. Lewis also mentioned that all of their albums are about him trying to navigate his way through childhood trauma, which is, you know, super relatable and not at all a cliché 🙄. As he said, “Basically, all the STAIND records — start from the beginning and move forward — has been an adult man trying to navigate his way through the wreckage that was left behind from childhood trauma.”
But hey, at least they’re consistent, right? And who needs originality when you can just rehash the same old themes and sounds? 🤷♂️ I mean, it’s not like they’re trying to appeal to a new audience or anything…
The band recently released a new single, “Ghosts”, which is, surprise surprise, about Lewis’ feelings and stuff 🙄. The song features a “chugging detuned riff” (because, of course, it does) and Lewis’ signature vocals, which are instantly recognizable, mostly because they sound like every other STAIND song 🙃. As Lewis said, “It seemed like everybody had gravitated towards ‘Ghosts’… It’s a little different, and it surprised all of us.”
STAIND’s Upcoming Tour: Because You Clearly Didn’t Get Enough of Them the First Time Around
And, because you’ve all been waiting with bated breath, STAIND is going on tour again! 🎉 This time, they’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of their breakout album “Break The Cycle”, which, fun fact, has been certified seven-times platinum 📀. The tour will feature special guests SEETHER and HOOBASTANK, because, you know, those bands aren’t irrelevant at all 🙄. As if we needed more proof that the early 2000s are back, the tour will also include a stop in Cleveland, where they’ll play to a crowd of people who are still listening to “It’s Been A While” on repeat 📻.
So, are you guys excited? 🤔 I know I am… to take a nap 🛋️. STAIND is an American rock band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1995, and they’ve been making music for over 25 years. They’ve sold over 15 million records worldwide, and their sound is a unique blend of groove metal, grunge, and singer-songwriter styles. But hey, who needs to know all that when you can just listen to their music and judge for yourself? 🤷♂️
In conclusion, STAIND is back, and they’re bringing their signature sound and angst-ridden lyrics with them. So, if you’re feeling nostalgic for the early 2000s, or just want to relive the magic of “It’s Been A While”, then you’re in luck! 🎉 Just don’t forget to bring your earplugs, because, you know, it’s going to be loud 🎸. And who knows, maybe they’ll even play some new songs from their upcoming album, “The Space Between The Darkness And The Light”. 🤔 But let’s be real, we all know what we’re really waiting for – the inevitable reunion of Nickelback 🤣.
