Warframe Finally Invades Android in Canada — Because Eh, Why Not? Global Domination Next!

Warframe Mobile Is Coming to Android, Because Apparently We All Need More Ways to Ignore Our Responsibilities

Oh look, another game letting us pretend we’re intergalactic space ninjas while our laundry piles up like the Sentients’ ancient grudges. Digital Extremes, in a shocking display of mercy, is bringing Warframe to Android devices starting today in Canada—because who doesn’t want to farm relics while pretending to listen during Zoom meetings?

Following the launch of The Old Peace update in December 2025 (which probably added more lore that 90% of us will skip while mashing buttons), Warframe is now invading Canadian pockets first. The rest of the world has to wait until February 18, 2026, because apparently Digital Extremes enjoys watching global jealousy unfold in real-time.

Released in 2013 (which feels like ancient history in gaming years), Warframe has somehow accumulated five expansions and 30+ story quests. That’s right, you too can become a Tenno warrior and explore 20 planets with four Open Worlds—because who needs to actually see the real world when you can parkour across fictional alien landscapes instead? With nearly 65 base Warframes and enough weapons to arm a small country, you’ll never run out of ways to ignore your responsibilities.

The best part? You can now play with people across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and eventually Nintendo Switch 2 (because one Switch apparently wasn’t enough). Cross-Platform Save and Cross-Platform Play mean you can abandon your responsibilities on literally any device. Android players who log in will receive the Cumulus Collection, which includes a special weapon, armor cosmetics, and resource boosters—available until March 4, 2026, giving you just enough time to decide if this is a worthwhile addiction.

Of course, running a game that probably needs more processing power than NASA used for the moon landing requires some serious hardware. Your Android device needs to be running 64-bit Android on an ARM64 Processor, Android OS 12.0 or higher, and at least 4GB of RAM. So yes, you might need to upgrade your phone just to farm more resources you’ll never use.

Available now on the Google Play Store for Canadian users (the lucky ducks), with global domination following on February 18. Visit the Warframe official website for more details, or the Warframe Forums if you enjoy reading about which devices can handle your new mobile addiction.

So there you have it, folks. Another way to avoid adulting, now in the palm of your hand. Your wallet and battery life will never be the same. 🚀
