So, you’ll be spending your days making choices, one after another, and hoping that they won’t completely destroy your kingdom 🤞. Your decisions will change your affinity with different groups, like Merchants, Nobles, Scholars, Mystics, People, and Treasury. Yeah, because nothing says “good leadership” like playing favorites and making everyone hate you 🙅♂️. And if things go wrong? No worries, just rewind time and try again… and again… and again 🕰️. It’s like the ultimate “get out of jail free” card, but with more time travel and less jail 🕳️.
Each day starts with an Audience, where you’ll meet with your subjects and hear their problems. And, boy, do they have problems 🤯! From maniacal geese blocking the entrance to the baths 🦆 to mysterious creatures killing farm animals in the countryside 🐺, you’ll have to decide who to help and who to ignore 🤔. And then, of course, there are the knights 🏹. Oh, the knights 🙄. They all have their own strengths and weaknesses, and you’ll have to choose the right one for each mission 🎯. Lady Ursula, for example, is great at magic and weird stuff 🔮, while Gwendan is just a big ol’ bag of nobility and entitlement 🤴. Because, you know, that’s exactly what you need in a knight – a bad attitude and a sense of superiority 😒.
But wait, there’s more! 🎉 You’ll also have to balance your relationships with your knights, because if you upset them, they might just leave your Round Table and join the enemy 🚫. And don’t even get me started on the romance options 💌. You can flirt with your knights, or even the Lady of the Tower, a statue who can add new rooms to your castle 🏰. Because, why not? 🤷♀️ It’s not like you have better things to do, like ruling the kingdom or something 🙄.
The game also features a time travel mechanic, because why not? 🕰️ You can rewind time and try again, but be careful, because using it too much might have consequences 🚨. And, of course, there are the usual RPG features, like character stats and skill trees 📈.
