OMG, you guys, The Pokémon Company is STILL milking the nostalgia cow! 🐮🐄 Like, seriously, are they EVER going to come up with something original? Apparently not! They’re dragging *Pokémon Black and White* out of the grave for a 15th-anniversary set, because, you know, innovation is HARD. 🙄 And get this, they’re introducing a BRAND-NEW RARITY! Because apparently, we didn’t have enough already. 🙄🙄🙄
So, the geniuses over at Pokémon HQ decided that since you can’t actually FIND any of the *new* packs (thanks, scalpers! 🖕), they’ll just release MORE cards. Makes perfect sense, right? It’s not like anyone’s struggling to complete sets or anything. 🤪 Anyway, this set is supposed to be a “stunning visual refresh.” I bet it’s just a bunch of slightly altered cards with a different foil pattern. Groundbreaking. 🤯
Apparently, this set is all about the Unova region, which debuted in *Pokémon Black* and *Pokémon White* for the Nintendo DS back in… wait for it… 2010! 👴👵 Feel old yet? They’re including ALL 156 Pokémon from Unova. ALL OF THEM. Because who wouldn’t want another Trubbish card? 🗑️ Honestly, I’d rather battle a team of level 100 Bidoofs. 🦫
Now, for the pièce de résistance: the new rarity! It’s called “BWR,” which I guess stands for “Black and White Rare.” 🙄 Clever, guys, real clever. It’s supposedly higher than the gold cards, which, let’s be honest, are already rarer than finding a Charizard in a booster pack. 🐉 The first three BWR cards are Reshiram, Zekrom, and Victini. Predictable much? 😴
And get this, the cards have “unique one-colour designs.” So basically, they’re lazy and didn’t want to pay the artists for the full color spectrum. 🎨 The last time they did something like this was Dialga EX from Phantom Forces in 2014. So original. 👏
The English set is coming out a month after the Japanese one. I bet the English name will be something super creative like… “Unova Legends” or “Black and White Revisited.” 😩 They’re saying it’ll have around 300 cards. 300! That’s 297 too many Trubbish cards if you ask me. 🗑️🗑️🗑️
Oh, and let’s not forget the whole “difficulty obtaining new card sets” issue. 🙄 The Pokémon Company released a statement saying they’re “aware” of the problem. Wow, groundbreaking! They’re “actively working to print more.” 🙄🙄🙄 As if that’s going to stop the bots and scalpers. 🤖💸 Good luck finding these new cards, folks! You’ll need it. May the odds be ever in your favor, and may you not pull 500 Patrats. 🙏
