GFN Thursday: GeForce NOW Yeets 20 Games Including Little Nightmares III (But Who's Counting)

Okay, so apparently, it’s 2025, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW is still a thing? 🤣 Who knew? I thought cloud gaming would have gone the way of the Betamax by now, but hey, here we are, celebrating another GFN Thursday. Prepare to be amazed (or not) as they bless us with, like, 20 more games you probably already own or don’t care about.

For those of you still living under a rock 🪨 (or, you know, haven’t ascended to PC gaming godhood), GeForce NOW is basically NVIDIA’s attempt to trick you into thinking your potato 🥔 PC can run Crysis. They stream games to you, promising the power of a GeForce RTX GPU without the hassle of, you know, actually owning one. All you have to do is pay them a monthly fee and own the game on a compatible platform. It’s like renting a Ferrari but only being allowed to drive it in your driveway. 🤷

And what’s this “GFN Thursday” nonsense? Oh, it’s just NVIDIA’s way of saying, “Hey, we added some more games to our service! 🎉 Now you can play them with slightly less lag than last week!” This week, on July 3, 2025, they’ve graced us with 20 titles. Get ready to be underwhelmed.

This week’s headliner is Little Nightmares III. I’m sure it’s a terrifying experience. But hey, now you can be scared in the cloud! And, since GeForce NOW is available on Steam Deck, you can experience the horror on the go! Because nothing says “immersive gaming” like playing on a tiny screen with questionable internet connectivity. 📶

Here’s the complete list of games you should probably just buy on sale instead of subscribing to yet another service:

Little Nightmares II (Wow, NVIDIA, thanks for the *new* release! So generous!)
Figment (I’m sure this will be a real “masterpiece”)
Clicker Heroes (Because who needs gameplay when you can just click?)
Fabledom (I think this one will be a “fable-d” waste of time!)
Rogue: Genesia (Sounds like a disease I caught after eating some bad sushi.)
Schedule I (Is this a game about doing taxes? 😫)
The Ascent (More like “The Descent” into boredom, am I right?)
Every Day We Fight (I’m already fighting the urge to cancel my subscription.)
Mycopunk (I’m not even going to touch that one.)
Brickadia (Lego Fortnite’s poor cousin?)
HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT (I have no idea what this is, and I’m afraid to find out.)
Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition (Definitively boring.)
DREADZONE (More like “Dead Zone,” am I right?)
The Drifter (I’m sure this will drift into oblivion.)
He Is Coming (Who? The pizza delivery guy? 🍕)
Killing Floor 3 (I’d rather watch paint dry.)
RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business (Sounds like my last relationship.)
Wildgate (Is this like, a gate for wild animals? 🦁)
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (Sounds like a rejected anime title.)
Battle Brothers (I’d rather battle my own crippling debt.)

So, there you have it. Another GFN Thursday, another batch of games to clog up the cloud. If you’re still somehow interested in this cloud gaming madness, head over to the NVIDIA website and sign up. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you when your internet cuts out during a crucial boss fight. 😈
